Here are a few steps to make a chicken in one week.
1.
Cut the skin into 1cm cubes (about 1/8 inch) from the back side of the bird.
Chop the skin in two pieces.
Chop down the bird, cutting the bones out and the rest.

Heat a large pan over medium heat.
Add the oil.
3.
Add onions and garlic.
Saute for 5-10 minutes or until onions soften.
4.
Add tomatoes, peas, peas water and ginger.
Sautes for a minute or two.
5.
Add coconut milk and stir for a couple of minutes.
6.
Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes.
7.
Add salt to taste and stir in the coconut milk.
8.
Add water to cook for about 3-5 minutes.
9.
Serve hot with chapatis.
